A city clean-up crew laughs while they illegally paint over a famous and valuable Banksy piece as the owner of the building cries and begs them to stop. Then the city was like, oops, our mistake…heh.
I get that what Banksy does is illegal, blah blah blah, but given these two options, which would you prefer to have in your city – the before or the after? (image after the jump)
Banksy is a more effective graffiti deterrent than…a blank black wall. Duh.

Thanks and I quite agree! We have a secret street artist in Holland too – not quite Banksy, but his sculptures are well worth keeping and the city values them a lot. Richard
